The Nike Sonic Flight is a hybrid model that combines design elements from two of Gary Payton's signature sneakers. Part Nike Air Zoom GP I, part Nike Air Zoom Flight "The Glove," they have a combination of materials on the upper, "monkey paw" design on the side panels, Zoom Air in the forefoot, visible Air-Sole unit in the heel, "GP20" on the tongue tag, heel pull tab, and a rubber outsole with modified herringbone traction pattern.
